A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Finite-Set Model Predictive Current Control of Induction Motors by Direct Use of Total Disturbance
Disturbance rejection strategies are very useful for the robustness improvement of the predictive control method. But they can only be used in the modulated-based predictive control methods such as continuous set model predictive control (CS-MPC) and ...

This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Robust Decentralized Secondary Frequency Control in Power Systems: Merits and Trade-Offs [PDF]
Frequency restoration in power systems is conventionally performed by broadcasting a centralized signal to local controllers. As a result of the energy transition, technological advances, and the scientific interest in distributed control and ...

Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Seizure control in a neural mass model by an active disturbance rejection approach
A closed-loop neuromodulation automatically adjusts stimuli according to brain response in real time. It is viewed as a promising way to control medically intractable epilepsy. A suitable closed-loop modulation strategy, which is robust enough to unknown
