Automated particle analysis of D.B. Cooper's tie

Abstract Automated particle analysis (APA) using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy‐dispersive x‐ray spectrometry (EDS) is a well‐known method in forensics, especially as it is applied to gunshot residue analysis. Here we describe the analysis of particles lifted from D.B. Cooper's tie, which was left on the hijacked plane in 1971.

Polypropylene Nanoplastic Exposure to Respiratory Epithelial Barrier‐On‐Chip and Interfacial Interactions With Human Serum Albumin

Exposure to 305 nm PP NPs significantly disrupts the airway barrier‐on‐chip, reducing TEER, suppressing ZO‐1/ACE2 expression, and triggering ROS‐mediated apoptosis. In biological media, PP NPs exhibit a biphasic adsorption pattern, leading to the formation of a protein corona that increases their size to 364 nm.

Summary The current classification of sweat gland carcinomas is based on histomorphological characteristics and distinguishes between more than 20 entities. Pretreatment of keratinocytes with Galactomyces ferment filtrate (GFF) promotes stress resiliency in an in vitro oxidative stress model

GFF pretreatment enhances keratinocyte protection against oxidative stress by mitigating stress‐induced biomolecular changes and gene expression dysregulation. GFF‐pretreated keratinocytes maintain healthy epidermal biology post‐stress, preserving mitochondrial function and proliferative capacity.
