AI‐Designed TREM1‐Targeted LYTAC Nanoparticles Reprogram the Neuroimmune Microenvironment in Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AI‐enabled de novo design of a TREM1 binder, integrated into a BBB‐crossing and macrophage‐targeted nanoplatform, enables TREM1 degradation and attenuates neuroinflammation, thereby promoting neuroprotection and tissue repair after traumatic brain injury. ABSTRACT Secondary neuroinflammation drives progressive damage after traumatic brain injury (TBI),

Expanding the DNA Nanotechnology Toolbox: Hierarchical Assembly and Self‐Sorting of DNA Tiles With Precisely Controlled Hydrophobic Behavior

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
DNA tile amphiphiles encode dual chemical information, directing nanostructure formation through base‐pairing and hydrophobic effects. Thermal annealing programs hierarchical assembly, with first‐formed interactions biasing the final morphology: short hydrophobic chain strands form DX‐tiles and then into stars, while long‐chain strands form SNAs and ...

A Large Scale Multi‐Modal Workflow for Battery Characterization: From Concept to Implementation

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Isolated characterization techniques produce independent datasets and single‐property insights. However, progressively more holistic interpretations of battery‐material behavior is needed in the future. Here we demonstrate a coordinated multimodal workflow enabling the correlation of heterogeneous datasets and the construction of multidimensional ...

Prophage Activation Triggers Extracellular Synthesis of DNA in Bacterial Biofilms via Rolling Circle Replication

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Shewanella oneidensis and Bacillus subtilis, both harboring prophages, reveal a novel biosynthetic route to scalable and programmable DNA superstructures in flower‐ and wire‐like shapes, respectively. Activation of prophages is achieved via 3‐hour starvation and monitored using reporter strains.
