Targeting Btk/Etk of prostate cancer cells by a novel dual inhibitor. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Btk and Etk/BMX are Tec-family non-receptor tyrosine kinases. Btk has previously been reported to be expressed primarily in B cells and has an important role in immune responses and B-cell malignancies.

Mapping the Cerebral Organoid Landscape: A Systematic Review of Preclinical 3D Models in Neuroscience

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Cerebral organoids are transforming brain research, yet the field remains fragmented. This comprehensive systematic review maps 738 studies published between 2014 and 2024 to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities across neuroscience. Introducing OrganoidMap—an interactive, open‐access platform to explore and compare models—this work enables ...

Analgesic and anti-inflammatory evaluations of S-naproxen derivatives in animals models supported by molecular docking simulation studies

open access: yesFuture Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Abstract Background In the current study, various S-naproxen derivatives (NDs) were evaluated for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities using in vivo models, along with molecular docking studies. The analgesic potential was assessed through acetic acid-induced writhing, hot plate, and formalin-induced ...

3D Soft Hydrogels Induce Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells “Deep” Quiescence

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Three‐dimensional soft hydrogels mimicking the bone marrow niche induce deep quiescence in human mesenchymal stem cells. Unlike 2D culture, 3D matrices halt proliferation, regulate cell‐cycle and quiescence markers, and downregulate mTORC1 signaling, preserving stem cell phenotype and therapeutic potential ex vivo.

Low‐Dimensional MOF Nanoarchitectonics: Progress in MOF‐2D Material Hybrid Architectures for Energy Conversion and Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the integration of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and two‐dimensional (2D) materials through dimensional interface engineering. By addressing intrinsic limitations like poor conductivity and agglomeration, these hybrid architectures optimize interfacial charge and mass transport.
