Considering Documents in Lifelog Information Retrieval
Proceedings of the 2018 ACM on International Conference on Multimedia Retrieval, 2018 Lifelogging is a research topic that is receiving increasing attention and although lifelog research has progressed in recent years, the concept of what represents a document in lifelog retrieval has not yet been sufficiently explored. Hence, the generation of multimodal lifelog documents is a fundamental concept that must be addressed.

Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Overall gut microbiota composition remained largely stable throughout CRT while antibiotic exposure may influence microbial diversity.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
