Focusing on Doherty Power Amplifiers for S-Band
2012 19th International Conference on Microwaves, Radar & Wireless Communications, 2012The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the actual state-of-art about the Doherty Power Amplifier (DPA) for S-Band application and to present a new realization using GaN devices able to provide 41dBm saturated output power with 60% drain efficiency and 10dB gain at 2.14GHz.

Simplified Doherty power amplifier structures
2015 Texas Symposium on Wireless and Microwave Circuits and Systems (WMCS), 2015We present two simplified Doherty power amplifier (DPA) structures to eliminate a quarter-wavelength impedance inverter used in the conventional DPA structure. The simplified DPA structures reduce the number of the impedance inverters, therefore they can be easily adopted in the broadband/multi-band applications of the DPA.

Doherty-to-Balanced Switchable Power Amplifier
2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), 2019A novel Doherty-to-balanced (D2B) switchable power amplifiers (PAs) architecture based on branch-line quadrature hybrid couplers is presented. It is for the first time unveiled that by switching the 50-Ω loading at isolation port to a short circuit to ground, the balanced amplifier can be fully converted to a Doherty PA.

Broadband doherty power amplifier and linearization

Continuous mode impedance matching method is proposed for Doherty PA for bandwidth enhancement, which utilizes the cross-matching technique to realize the physical output matching network.

A Wideband 100W Doherty Power Amplifier
2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2019In this paper, design, fabrication and measurement results of a Doherty power amplifier (DPA) with a fractional bandwidth of wider than 90% is reported. Design of Continuous Doherty Power Amplifier
