Simplified Doherty power amplifier structures
2015 Texas Symposium on Wireless and Microwave Circuits and Systems (WMCS), 2015We present two simplified Doherty power amplifier (DPA) structures to eliminate a quarter-wavelength impedance inverter used in the conventional DPA structure. The simplified DPA structures reduce the number of the impedance inverters, therefore they can be easily adopted in the broadband/multi-band applications of the DPA.
