The Approximate Solution of 2D Dirichlet Problem in Doubly Connected Domains

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2018
We propose a new method for constructing an approximate solution of the two-dimensional Laplace equation in an arbitrary doubly connected domain with smooth boundaries for Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

The Control Problem for a Heat Conduction Equation with Neumann Boundary Condition

open access: yesVestnik KRAUNC: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki
Previously, boundary control problems for a heat conduction equation with Dirichlet boundary condition were studied in a bounded domain. In this paper, we consider the boundary control problem for the heat conduction equation with Neumann boundary ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

A time-domain integration method with equivalent complex damping model based on viscoelastic material constitutive relation

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control
The complex damping model is only applied in frequency-domain. Based on the constitutive relation of viscoelastic materials, a vibration equation is equivalent to the constitutive relation of complex damping theory and the frequency response function ...

Electromagnetic Field Analysis of Operation Space of the Switch in the Substation Based on the Time Domain Integration Method

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2018
In this paper, the approximate calculation formula is used to calculate the horizontal electric field from lightning which has arbitrary current, with the help of time domain integral equation method solving the lightning induced over voltages on ...

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

STRUCTURAL GLOBAL SENSITIVITY METHOD BASED ON PARTIAL DERIVATIVE WHOLE DOMAIN INTEGRAL

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2019
In view of the problems that the traditional variance-based Sobol’method had a low solving efficiency, lacked of enough robustness, and it cannot further effectively decompose and reasonably distribute the influences of the high-order cross subterms,a ...
