Anti-interrupted Sampling Repeater Jamming Method in the Waveform Domain before Matched Filtering

open access: yesLeida xuebao
Interrupted Sampling Repeater Jamming (ISRJ) falls within the category of intrapulse coherent deception interference. ISRJ employs the principle of undersampling to engender multiple spurious target peaks on the range profile, thereby disrupting the ...

Cascading verification: an integrated method for domain-specific model checking [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2013 9th Joint Meeting on Foundations of Software Engineering, 2013
Model checking is an established method for verifying behavioral properties of system models. But model checkers tend to support low-level modeling languages that require intricate models to represent even the simplest systems. Modeling complexity arises in part from the need to encode domain knowledge at relatively low levels of abstraction.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

A new formulation of J-integral range ΔJ using three-dimensional equivalent domain integral for finite deformation elastic-plastic problem

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2018
In this paper, a new formulation for computing ΔJ using the three-dimensional equivalent domain integral method for finite deformation elastic-plastic problem is presented.

A Nystrm method for boundary integral equations in domains with corners

open access: yesNumerische Mathematik, 1990
The core of this work is a high order quadrature formula for integrals with endpoint singularities. The author obtains such a formula using the trapezoidal rule for the transformed integral. This quadrature rule is then applied in the Nyström method for a class of integral equations of the second kind with endpoint singularities. Finally, the method is

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Determination of scattering frequencies for two-dimensional acoustic problems using boundary element method

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, 2021
This paper presents a numerical approach for the determination of scattering frequencies of two-dimensional acoustic exterior resonance problems using boundary element method combined with a contour integral method.

Dynamic Integration of Time- and State-Domain Methods for Volatility Estimation

open access: yesJournal of the American Statistical Association, 2007
Time- and state-domain methods are two common approaches for nonparametric prediction. The former predominantly uses the data in the recent history while the latter mainly relies on historical information. The question of combining these two pieces of valuable information is an interesting challenge in statistics.

Electron transfer between complexes III and IV in S. cerevisiae mitochondrial membranes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in S. cerevisiae mitoplasts is limited by complex IV catalytic capacity, rather than two‐dimensional cytochrome c diffusion. At physiological cytochrome c : supercomplex ratios at salinity equivalent to that of 20 mm monovalent salt, activity is maximized, indicating that this low ionic strength accurately mimics

A Hybrid Solvers Enhanced Integral Equation Domain Decomposition Method for Modeling of Electromagnetic Radiation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
The hybrid solvers based on integral equation domain decomposition method (HS-DDM) are developed for modeling of electromagnetic radiation. Based on the philosophy of “divide and conquer,” the IE-DDM divides the original multiscale problem into many ...
