Proteasome Inhibition Reduces Donor-Specific Antibody Levels
Transplantation Proceedings, 2009Current antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) therapies (intravenous immunoglobulin, apheresis, rituximab, polyclonal antibodies) do not target the primary antibody producing B cells, that is, the plasma cell. We report the preliminary results from the first clinical experience with plasma cell targeted therapy with bortezomib.

Donor-Specific HLA Antibodies as Biomarkers of Transplant Rejection
Clinics in Laboratory Medicine, 2019This article reviews the current evidence to classify donor-specific antibodies (DSAs) using Food and Drug Administration-National Institutes of Health Biomarkers, EndpointS, and other Tools (BEST) resource terms as diagnostic, prognostic, predictive, monitoring, and risk biomarkers for graft rejection. The emphasis is on DSA characteristics, including
