The Space-Based Altimeter Echo-Signal when Doppler Scattering is taken Into Account
In the analytical approximation of time dependent average power of a satellite altimeter echo-signal (power profile) the Doppler scattering of individual specular point responses is usually neglected.

Motional frequency shifts of trapped ions in the Lamb-Dicke regime
First order Doppler effects are usually ignored in laser driven trapped ions when the recoil frequency is much smaller than the trapping frequency (Lamb-Dicke regime).

FMO2 Promotes Angiogenesis via Regulation of N‐Acetylornithine
This study identifies flavin‐containing monooxygenase 2 (FMO2) as a novel proangiogenic regulator in endothelial cells. Targeted FMO2 ablation impairs vessel sprouting, whereas its compensation potently enhances angiogenesis. Metabolomics and single‐cell sequencing reveal that FMO2 drives vascular growth via the N‐acetylornithine/ATF3/NOTCH1 axis ...

Joint estimation of target time delay and Doppler frequency in passive radar system
A novel method of joint estimation of time delay and Doppler shift in passive radar system based on short-time fractional Fourier transform (STFRFT) was proposed.Firstly, the mathematical expression of the STFRFT time-frequency resolution was studied for ...

Frame Capture in IEEE 802.11p Vehicular Networks [PDF]
IEEE 802.11p is the new standard proposed by the IEEE for wireless connectivity in a vehicular context. It can be used by Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to make vehicles aware of the traffic around them ...

This study primarily reveals that PM2.5‐derived Fe‐containing particles, particularly magnetite, are specifically enriched in the heart. Here, they interact with NCOA4 in endothelial cells, disrupt iron homeostasis by enhancing ferritinophagy, and subsequently trigger the process of EndMT through the NCOA4/KLF5 pathway.

The delta Doppler technique for LDV measurements at long distances [PDF]
A technique for measuring velocity, referred to as a Delta Doppler technique, was presented. This technique determines scattering source velocities by measuring the difference in Doppler shifts of two different frequencies.

This study presents MonoSeal, a single‐component adhesive sponge powered by the novel Autopenetrative Adhesion (APA) mechanism. Unlike traditional adhesives, which require external stimuli, APA enables strong tissue adhesion under dynamic, high‐pressure bleeding conditions. MonoSeal's ability to autonomously seal large‐size arterial defects underscores
