Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Background The development of post-genomic methods has dramatically increased the amount of qualitative and quantitative data available to understand how ecological complexity is shaped. Yet, new statistical tools are needed to use these data efficiently.

Cesaro summability of double sequences of sets
In this paper, we study the concepts of Wijsman Ces`aro summability and Wijsman lacunary convergence of double sequences of sets and investigate the relationship between them.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

The phenomenon of transgene silencing was first observed shortly after the generation of the initial transgenic plants. The vast body of experimental data accumulated since then constitutes an invaluable resource for dissecting the mechanisms of ...

I_2-Lacunary statistical convergence of double sequences of sets
In this paper, we introduce the concepts of the Wijsman I2-statistical convergence, Wijsman I2-lacunary statistical convergence and Wijsman strongly I2-lacunary convergence of double sequences of sets and investigate the relationship between them.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

We investigate the stability of linear discrete-time control systems with a fuzzy logic feedback under sporadic sensor data loss. In our framework, each state measurement is a fuzzy number, and occasional “packet dropouts” are modeled by a lacunary ...

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
