This study investigates the numerical solution of two‐dimensional parabolic convection–diffusion–reaction (CDR) equations with variable coefficients using the finite difference method (FDM) and the finite element method (FEM). The FDM employs central differences for spatial discretization and the implicit Euler method for time integration, while the ...

Implementation of DRBEM for the determination of the heat flux in an inverse problem
Summary: A numerical investigation of inverse unsteady natural convection flow in a square cavity filled with \(Cu\)-water nanofluid is performed. In the direct problem, the enclosure is bounded by one isothermally heated vertical wall at temperature \(T_m\) and by three adiabatic walls. In the inverse problem, the enclosure is bounded by right hostile

DRBEM Solution of Incompressible MHD Flow with Magnetic Potential
The dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) formulation is presented for solving incompressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow equations. The combination of Navier-Stokes equations of fluid dynamics and Maxwell’s equations of electromagnetics through Ohm’s law is considered in terms of stream function, vorticity and magnetic potential in 2D ...

Optimizations for Elastodynamic Simulation Analysis with FMM-DRBEM and CUDA
In this study, we propose a novel method to accelerate the process of elastodynamic analysis in 3D problems with BEM (boundary element method). With applying the DRBEM (dual reciprocity boundary element method) to form new integral equations for reducing complexity;the modified FMM (fast multipole method)is introduced to simplify the computation ...

DRBEM Solution of MHD Flow with Magnetic Induction and Heat Transfer
This study proposes the dual reciprocity boundary element (DRBEM) solution for full magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in a lid-driven square cavity. MHD equations are coupled with the heat transfer equation by means of the Boussinesq approximation. Induced magnetic field is also taken into consideration.
