ABHD17C‐Mediated S‐Depalmitoylation of BCL6B Enhances CD24 Transcription to Resist Macrophage Phagocytosis in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABHD17C‐mediated depalmitoylation of BCL6B at Cys442 blocks its nuclear import and triggers ubiquitin‐dependent degradation, attenuating transcriptional repression of the anti‐phagocytic signal CD24. This mechanism enables pancreatic cancer cells to evade macrophage phagocytosis and fosters an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

Fate of the resistance profile of drinking water biofilm exposed to a sub-minimum inhibitory concentration of ciprofloxacin

open access: yesnpj Antimicrobials and Resistance
Early research has found that biofilms adhered to treatment filtration beds and the inside of drinking water pipes help promote antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in drinking water systems.

An Energy Autonomous Microneedle Array‐Based Sensing System for Continuous Biomarker Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an innovative self‐powered wearable biosensor system for real‐time monitoring of multiple biomarkers in interstitial fluid. The device integrates stainless steel‐based minimally invasive microneedles with ion‐selective membranes, enabling simultaneous Na+, K+, Ca2+, pH, and glucose detection.

Water age in drinking water distribution systems: A case study comparing tracers and EPANET

open access: yesCase Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering
This study aimed to compare the water age in a drinking water distribution network (DWDN) using tracers and EPANET. The results indicate that all DWDN have residence times within the “short” time.

Drinking Water Temperature Modelling in Domestic Systems

open access: yes, 2014
Domestic water supply systems are the final stage of the transport process to deliver potable water to the customers’ tap. Under the influence of temperature, residence time and pipe materials the drinking water quality can change while the water passes ...

SSR4 sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.
