The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Analysis of the drying kinetics of S. Bartolomeu pears for different drying systems. [PDF]
Pears of the variety S. Bartolomeu (Pyrus communis L.) are used in Portugal to produce a traditional food product, which is obtained by open-air sun drying. The traditional processing has many disadvantages, namely the efficiency and the sanitary quality

Determination of drying kinetics of Tunceli garlic with microwave drying technique
In this study, drying kinetics of 4 mm-thick slices of Tunceli garlic Allium tuncelianum was investigated by using microwave technique at an interval of 90-600 W microwave output power. Ten mathematical models were used to represent the experimental data in this study.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Ethanol pretreatment before air drying of beetroot: drying kinetics
This work investigates the effects of ethanol pretreatment on the kinetics of air drying of beetroot at 70 °C, a temperature commonly used in the dehydration process to preserve color and phytochemical integrity. Three parameters of pretreatment - ethanol concentration, temperature, and duration - were assessed at five different levels to evaluate ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron
