Abstract Cytokinin active compounds were isolated from larvae of D. kuriphilus within galls of Japanese chestnut, Castanea crenata, Sied, et Zucc. One of the compounds coincided with zeatin by T L C, G L C and Sephadex LH20 column chromatography.
