Using Fine Sediment Monitoring to Quantify Sand Loading Over Time
ABSTRACT Riverine sand loading can lead to geomorphic change, impacting river processes like lateral migration and vertical aggradation or degradation. Yet many sediment monitoring programs track only fine sediment measurable as total suspended solids (TSS). Here, we assess the ability for TSS data to be used to determine sand loading.

Geoeffectiveness of Coronal Mass Ejections in the SOHO era
The main objective of the study is to determine the probability distributions of the geomagnetic Dst index as a function of the coronal mass ejection (CME) and solar flare parameters for the purpose of establishing a probabilistic forecast tool for the ...

A one‐step oblique angle reactive sputtering approach enables simultaneous tuning of bulk and interfacial stoichiometry in a metal oxide/ silicon heterojunction. In case of vanadium oxides, growth angle variation controls the formation of stoichiometric SiO2, ternary SiOx(V) interlayer, and phase purity of vanadium oxide, considerably simplifying the ...

Motion and collision of particles near DST Black holes
We consider Deser-Sarioglu-Tekin (DST) black holes as background and we study such the motion of massive particles as the collision of two spinning particles in the vicinity of its horizon.

Unlocking Energy Potential: Exploiting Anionic Redox Activity in Na‐Based Layered Oxides
Anionic redox in Na‐based layered oxide cathodes unlocks additional capacity beyond conventional transition‐metal redox limits, enabling high‐energy sodium‐ion batteries. This review elucidates coupled cationicanionic redox mechanisms across P2‐, O3‐, and related structural phases, while critically addressing key challenges such as voltage hysteresis ...

Prostate cancer, a leading cause of cancer in men globally, urgently requires improved diagnostic and treatment strategies. This study analyzed large genetic datasets and identified five key proteins (THBD, DST, IFI27L2, OSBPL10, PPP1R14A) that either increase or decrease cancer risk, while also exploring their roles in immune response and potential ...
