Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Absolute Calibration of Dual Frequency Timing Receivers for Galileo

open access: yes, 2013
The timing service of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is being steadily improved. Generally, this fact traces back to increasing accuracy of the provided ephemeris data, improvements in Precise Point Positioning, continuous refinement of time ...

Hyper-Dual Leonardo Numbers

open access: yes, 2022
In the present paper, the hyper-dual Leonardo numbers will be introduced with the use of Leonardo numbers. Some algebraic properties of these numbers such as recurrence relation, generating function, Catalan’s and Cassini’s identity, Binet’s formula, sum formulas will also be obtained.

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

New algorithms for the dual of the convex cost network flow problem with application to computer vision

open access: yes, 2007
Motivated by various applications to computer vision, we consider an integer convex optimization problem which is the dual of the convex cost network flow problem.

Exploring dual credit data alignment, student populations, and coursework patterns in Texas using a P-16 framework [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
textThis multi-faceted study of dual credit programs in Texas was motivated by perceived discrepancies in dual credit data reporting and a lack of comprehensive, statelevel information about dual credit student populations and coursework patterns ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

On the asymptotic number of inequivalent binary self-dual codes

open access: yes, 2007
Let Ψn be the number of inequivalent self-dual codes in F22n. We prove that limn→∞(2n)!τ2−12n(n−1)Ψn=1, where τ=∏j=1∞(1+2−j)≈2.38423. Let Δn be the number of inequivalent doubly even self-dual codes in F28n.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Dual Scalable Annealing Processing System That Scales Number of Spins and Interaction Bit Width Simultaneously

open access: yesIEEE Access
Annealing processors (APs) specialized for solving combinatorial optimization problems (COPs) have been gaining attention. Among them, APs that use a fully-coupled Ising model are in demand because of their versatility.
