Light detection in DUNE Dual Phase [PDF]
DUNE will be an underground neutrino oscillation experiment that will perform precision measurements of the PMNS mixing parameters, determine unambiguously the mass ordering and discover leptonic CP violation. It also comprises a rich non-accelerator physics program as the detection of supernova neutrinos, nucleon decay and BSM physics.

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...

ABSTRACT Background Embryonal tumors comprise the majority of malignant central nervous system (CNS) neoplasms diagnosed in children under 3 years of age. Compared with their counterparts in older children, these tumors exhibit distinct molecular biology and a more aggressive clinical phenotype, while their management is complicated by the heightened ...

Qualitative Aspects in Dual-Phase-Lag Thermoelasticity [PDF]
We consider the system of dual-phase-lag thermoelasticity proposed by Chandrasekharaiah and Tzou. First, we prove that the solutions of the problem are generated by a semigroup of quasi-contractions. Thus, the problem of the third order in time is well-posed. Then the exponential stability is investigated.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Modeling of Dual-Phase Composite Magnetic Material and Its Application in Transformers
Dual-phase composite magnetic materials have magnetic and permanent magnetic properties. They can realize the dual-phase conversion of soft magnetic and permanent magnetic composites with a small amount of excitation energy.
