DUV ANR photoresists: Resist design considerations.

open access: yesJournal of Photopolymer Science and Technology, 1990
DUV ANR photoresists are evaluated as a function of the molar ratio of aromatic hydroxyl sites on the phenolic resin to the melamine methoxy sites in the crosslinking agent. This ratio, χ, which is proportional to [ArOH]: [OCH3], is vital to appropriate resist function.

Nearly Efficiency-Droop-Free AlGaN-Based Ultraviolet Light-Emitting Diodes with a Specifically Designed Superlattice p-Type Electron Blocking Layer for High Mg Doping Efficiency

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2018
This work reports a nearly efficiency-droop-free AlGaN-based deep ultraviolet light-emitting diode (DUV LED) emitting in the peak wavelength of 270 nm. The DUV LED utilizes a specifically designed superlattice p-type electron blocking layer (p-EBL).

Stability of monolayers and bilayers in a copolymer-homopolymer blend model

open access: yes, 2009
We study the stability of layered structures in a variational model for diblock copolymer-homopolymer blends. The main step consists of calculating the first and second derivative of a sharp-interface Ohta-Kawasaki energy for straight mono- and bilayers.

A Chromaticity‐Based Warm‐Cool Model Integrated With the Neutral White Locus

open access: yesColor Research &Application, Volume 51, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
The new warm‐cool model is defined by the signed distance to a reference line passing through CIE D75 in the u'v' chromaticity diagram, with the warm‐cool scale indicated by cyan numbers integrated along a neutral white locus (cyan solid line), and pale‐cyan dashed lines denoting equal perceived warmth.

Enumerations of vertices among all rooted ordered trees with levels and degrees

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we enumerate and give bijections for the following four sets of vertices among rooted ordered trees of a fixed size: (i) first-children of degree $k$ at level $\ell$, (ii) non-first-children of degree $k$ at level $\ell-1$, (iii) leaves ...

Two‐Dimensional Transition Metal Dichalcogenides Properties Enhanced by Nano‐ and Micro‐Scale Shape Control

open access: yesMetalMat, Volume 3, Issue 1, March 2026.
This review explores current strategies for shaping two‐dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) beyond their planar form. It highlights how strain engineering, nanopatterning, and growth on complex substrates modulate their mechanical, optical, and electronic properties.

Photonic Unitary Circuits for Quantum Information Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
Unitary transformations are the cornerstone of quantum computing, enabling reversible manipulation of quantum states. This review evaluates photonic waveguide architectures as an evolving solution for quantum computing, exploiting the unique properties of photons. It investigates current theoretical frameworks, material platforms, and design strategies.

Performance study of UV micro-LEDs with AlGaN quantum dots and transparent tunnel junction

open access: yesNext Nanotechnology
It is well known that the size of deep ultraviolet (DUV) micro LED (μLEDs) decreases, although bandwidth improves, the optical power drops sharply, severely limiting the application of DUV μLEDs in optical communication.
