Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Dynamic characteristics and failure mechanisms of coal after different supercritical CO2 erosion durations

open access: yesMeitan kexue jishu
The stability of CO2-sequestered coal seams may be affected by geological disturbances such as strata reactivation, and CO2 generally exists in a supercritical state during geological sequestration.

Ultrafast dynamic compression of cyclohexane

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics
Cyclohexane, a key saturated cyclic hydrocarbon in petroleum, is a prospective molecular framework for energetic materials, making its phase diagram a subject of critical interest. Our work pushes the boundaries by exploring phase transitions under ultrafast (nanosecond timescale) dynamic compression using laser-driven shock and in situ time-resolved ...

Compressing dynamic meshes with geometric laplacians [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, 2014
AbstractThis paper addresses the problem of representing dynamic 3D meshes in a compact way, so that they can be stored and transmitted efficiently. We focus on sequences of triangle meshes with shared connectivity, avoiding the necessity of having a skinning structure. Our method first computes an average mesh of the whole sequence in edge shape space.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Experimental Investigation on the Formation of Adiabatic Shear Bands (ASB) During Dynamic Compression of AISI 1045 Steel at Different Strain Rates

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
This study investigates the development of adiabatic shear bands (ASBs) in AISI 1045 carbon steel under high-strain-rate uniaxial compression, emphasizing the conditions governing their onset and growth.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Combined Reinforcement of Rubber Aggregate Concrete with Ceramic Balls and Steel Fibers Under Dynamic Compression

open access: yesBuildings
Rubber aggregate concrete (RAC) offers excellent frost resistance and impact toughness, but the incorporation of rubber particles substantially reduces its compressive strength, limiting structural applications.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.
