Theory of creep disturbance effect of rock and its application in support of deep dynamic engineering

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2021
The surrounding rock of deep engineering shows obvious creep characteristics. When it is affected by the external cyclic impact load with medium-grade energy (impacting energy of 103~105 J), a long-term large deformation dynamic disaster will occur ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Multi-functional grid-connected inverter with enhanced disturbance rejection capability

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Apart from the basic renewable generation function, the multi-functional grid-connected inverter (MFGCI) derived from traditional grid-connected inverter could provide ancillary power quality enhancement functions for the interfaced grid.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Analysis of mesoscopic damage evolution in freeze-thawed sandstone under dynamic disturbance

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao
To investigate the damage evolution of rock masses in cold regions under different disturbance conditions, red sandstone samples are subjected to freeze-thaw cycles and dynamic disturbance tests.

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Robust model predictive kinematic tracking control with terminal region for wheeled robotic systems

open access: yesAutomatika, 2021
This paper addresses the nonlinear model predictive control (MPC) for wheeled mobile robots (WMRs) under external disturbance. The decoupling technique is utilized based on the non-holonomic constraint description for separating the WMR model.
