Simplification of Galactic Dynamic equations [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2020
Most fully developed galaxies have vivid spiral structure, but the formation and evolution of spiral structure is still a mystery that is not fully understood in astrophysics. We find that the currently used equations of galactic dynamics contain some unreasonable components.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

A Lyapunov Function For Logistic Equation On Time Scales

open access: yesSakarya Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi, 2018
In this study we focus on the stability of dynamic logistic equation which is used in single species population dynamics. Here we have introduced a quadratic Lyapunov function for generalized dynamic logistic equation on time scales.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Oscillatory and non-oscillatory solutions of dynamic equations with bounded coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
We analyze second-order half-linear dynamic equations on time scales. We prove oscillation and non-oscillation criteria which are sharp in the sense that the considered equations remain uncovered only for one setting of their coefficients.

Dynamic Modeling and Solution of 6-DOF Parallel Mechanism

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
When a parallel robot used in a scene that requires force control, rapid attitude adjustment, or precise positioning, we need to know the dynamic characteristics of the moving platform and the motion branch, so it is necessary to do the dynamic analysis ...

Equation of motion and subsonic-transonic transitions of rectilinear edge dislocations: A collective-variable approach

open access: yes, 2014
A theoretical framework is proposed to derive a dynamic equation motion for rectilinear dislocations within isotropic continuum elastodynamics. The theory relies on a recent dynamic extension of the Peierls-Nabarro equation, so as to account for core ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
