Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Estimates on some power nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm type dynamic integral inequalities on time scales

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
In this paper, some explicit bounds on solutions to a class of new power nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm type dynamic integral inequalities on time scales are established, which can be used as effective tools in the study of certain dynamic equations ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Numerical Solution of the Symmetric Water Impact of a Wedge Considering Dynamic Equations of Motion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Maritime Technology, 2013
In this research, numerical simulation of a symmetric impact of a 2-D wedge, considering dynamic equations in two-phase flow is taken into account. The two-phase flow around the wedge is solved based on finite volume method and volume of fluid (VOF ...

New Oscillation Criteria for Sturm–Liouville Dynamic Equations with Deviating Arguments

open access: yesMathematics
The aim of this study is to refine the known Riccati transformation technique to provide new oscillation criteria for solutions to second-order dynamic equations over time.

Reduced Dynamic Modeling for Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Manipulators With Multi-Closed-Loop Mechanisms

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
A reduced dynamic modeling approach is introduced to systematically establish explicit closed-form dynamic equations for the main motion system of a heavy-duty hydraulic manipulator with multi-closed-loop mechanisms.

Second coefficient of viscosity in air [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
Acoustic attenuation measurements in air were analyzed in order to estimate the second coefficient of viscosity. Data over a temperature range of 11 C to 50 C and at relative humidities between 6 percent and 91 percent were used.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
