Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Nanoindentation of bone: Comparison of specimens tested in liquid and embedded in polymethylmethacrylate [PDF]
Elastic modulus of bone was investigated by nanoindentation using common methods of sample preparation, data collection, and analysis, and compared to dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA: three-point bending) for the same samples. Nanoindentation (Berkovich,

Method for dynamic modulus based on least square and modified Kumar methods
Due to the large interference of white noise at small strains and the asymmetric loop with large strains, the current methods cannot accurately calculate the soil dynamic modulus.

Study of the Influence of Nonlinear Dynamic Loads on Elastic Modulus of Carbonate Reservoir Rocks
The paper presents the results of the experimental investigation of carbonate reservoir rocks subjected to quasistatic and nonlinear dynamic loads. During the quasistatic loading the zones of linear elasticity were determined.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Knowledge‐based atomistic workflows are presented for mechanical and thermodynamic properties. By coupling modular simulations with ontology‐aligned metadata and provenance, Fe case studies on elastic behavior, defects, thermal properties, and Hall–Petch strengthening reveal how FAIR, queryable, and reusable simulation data can be generated. Mechanical

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Comparison of stiffness parameters of two kinds of date palm using nondestructive test [PDF]
The goal of this study was to determine the modulus of elasticity and modulus of rapture of two kinds of date palm (Khasi and Hajmohammadi) using static bending and dynamic (flexural vibration) techniques.
