Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Dynamic measurement of the positioning accuracy of redundantly actuated parallel machine tool
A 5-DOF 5-UPS/PRPU parallel machine tool (PMT) is introduced. Redundant actuation is adopted in order to improve the positional accuracy and dynamic performance.

The Effect of Wind–Wave Correlations on the Optimal Thruster Location for Offshore Vessels
Offshore vessels are nowadays equipped with dynamic positioning systems, meaning they have additional thrusters dedicated to the station keeping of the unit.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Dynamic Positioning and Optimization of Magnetic Target Based on Binocular Vision
Aiming at the problems of visual occlusion, reduced positioning accuracy and pose loss in the dynamic scanning process of aviation large components, this paper proposes a binocular vision dynamic positioning method based on magnetic target.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Particle Swarm Optimization of a Passivity-Based Controller for Dynamic Positioning of Ships
Dynamic positioning (DP) control system is an essential module used in offshore ships for accurate maneuvering and maintaining of ship’s position and heading (fixed location or pre-determined track) by means of thruster forces being generated by ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Adaptive Dynamic Modelling for Kinematic
In order to optimize the dynamic model, careful consideration must be undertaken of the dynamics likely to be experienced by the system, while accounting for the measurement rate.
