Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Vehicle routing and scheduling with time-varying data: A case study [PDF]
A heuristic algorithm is described for vehicle routing and scheduling problems to minimise the total travel time, where the time required for a vehicle to travel along any road in the network varies according to the time of travel.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Performance Analysis of On-Demand Routing Protocols in Wireless Mesh Networks [PDF]
Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) have recently gained a lot of popularity due to their rapid deployment and instant communication capabilities. WMNs are dynamically self-organizing, self-configuring and self-healing with the nodes in the network ...

QoS in Node-disjoint Routing for Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]
PhDA mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that can communicate with each other without using any fixed infrastructure. It is necessary for MANETs to have efficient routing protocol and quality of service (QoS) mechanism to ...

Self-Organized Routing For Wireless Micro-Sensor Networks [PDF]
In this paper we develop an energy-aware self-organized routing algorithm for the networking of simple battery-powered wireless micro-sensors (as found, for example, in security or environmental monitoring applications).

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Multipolar routing: where dynamic and static routing meet
Assuming that the traffic matrix belongs to a polytope, we describe a new routing paradigm where each traffic matrix is routed a combination of a number of extreme routings. This combination depends on the current traffic matrix. Multipolar routing can be seen as a generalization of both routing and robust static routing.
