“Persisting stress incontinence following surgery: cystogram please” is a request to strike despair into many radiologists. What useful information is to be gleaned here from the micturition cysto-urethrogram (MCU)? Or from adult MCUs in general?

Here, the unperturbed, perturbed and interaction dynamics are characterized and compared within the framework of Chap. 3. Among other things, cores and domains of the generators are identified, the existence of the propagators is proven, and their continuity in the perturbation parameter shown.

Wound-Dynamic Studies in Australia
The Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1988As part of the Australian programme of studies in wound ballistics, a facility has been developed at the Materials Research Laboratories, Melbourne, Victoria, in which the phenomena associated with the penetration of bullets through tissue simulants can be investigated.

Mantle Dynamics – A Case Study
2009Solid state convection in the rocky mantles is a key to understanding the thermochemical evolution and tectonics of terrestrial planets and moons. It is driven by internal heat and can be described by a system of coupled partial differential equations.

Forced Wetting Dynamics: A Molecular Dynamics Study
Langmuir, 2003We consider molecular dynamics simulations to study a polymerlike liquid meniscus between two parallel plates moving at constant opposite velocities. We investigate contact line motion versus the speed of the solid and the shapes of the liquid interface for several liquid/solid interaction amplitudes.

Spreading dynamics of polymer microdroplets: A molecular-dynamics study
Physical Review E, 1994The dynamics of spreading of miroscopic nonvolatile polymer droplets on surfaces has been studied by the molecular-dynamics method. Simulations have been performed for mixtures of solvent and dimer, solvent and tetramer, and solvent and octamer droplets.

Polar solvation dynamics of lysozyme from molecular dynamics studies
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2012The solvation dynamics of a protein are believed to be sensitive to its secondary structures. We have explored such sensitivity in this article by performing room temperature molecular dynamics simulation of an aqueous solution of lysozyme. Nonuniform long-time relaxation patterns of the solvation time correlation function for different segments of the

Dynamical structure of protein studied
Chemical & Engineering News, 1990A team of theoretical chemists has developed a supercomputer-based method for probing the internal motion of proteins. The method, which is used to figure out how distant and seemingly unrelated parts of large proteins exert an influence on each other, has already led to a better understanding of HIV-1 protease, an essential enzyme in the replication ...

Supramolecular Dynamics Studied Using Photophysics
Langmuir, 2006Dynamics is an essential feature of supramolecular systems, and it's understanding will be central in achieving new chemical function. The methodology to obtain association and dissociation rate constants for fast binding of guests to host systems in real time is described.
