This work presents a 3D Sb‐embedded hollow carbon nanofiber (Sb@HCF) host for ultra‐stable Na metal anodes. Experimental analyses and theoretical simulations clearly uncovers that in situ formed Na‐Sb alloy guides uniform Na deposition and serves as efficient ion transport highways. The Sb@HCF‐based cells achieve exceptional cycling stability in half‐,

Ejected from home: C/1980 E1 (Bowell) and C/2024 L5 (ATLAS)
Context. Natural interstellar objects do not form isolated in deep space, but escape their natal planetary systems. Early removal from their home star systems via close flybys with still-forming planets could be the dominant ejection mechanism.

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

Remarks on E1-E2 and E1-M1 two-photon transitions
We investigate the possibility to observe Doppler-free two-photon transitions in the case where one of the transitions is an electric dipole transition and the other one is a magnetic dipole or an electric quadrupole transition. We show that it is not possible to obtain Doppler-free lines by reflecting the beam on itself.

Study of Free‐Space Optical Quantum Network: Review and Prospectives
Free from the constraints of fiber connections, free‐space quantum network enables longer and more flexible quantum network connections. This review summarizes and comparatively analyzes free‐space quantum network experiments based on ground stations, satellites, and mobile platforms.

Metastasis occurs when cancer cells leave the primary tumour and travel to a secondary site to form a new lesion. The tumour microenvironment (TME) is recognised to greatly influence this process, with for instance the vascular system enabling the ...

Identification of human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) E1^E4 binding partners and the characterisation of the E1^E4/E2 interaction [PDF]
Human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) is a DNA tumour virus that can infect epithelial tissue and can cause hyperproliferative lesions that can progress to cancer.

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...
