Geochemistry of Samples from Borehole C3177(299-E24-21) [PDF]

open access: green, 2003
This report contains the results of geochemical and physical property analyses of twelve samples from the Immobilized Low-Activity Waste (ILAW) borehole #2. The borehole is in the middle of the 200 East Area, at the northeast corner of the ILAW disposal site.

Streptococcus xiaochunlingii sp. nov. E24 Isolated From the Oropharynx of Healthy Chinese Children [PDF]

open access: goldFrontiers in Microbiology, 2020
A Gram-positive, α-hemolytic, catalase-negative, facultative anaerobic and non-motile coccus was isolated form throat swabs taken from the oropharynx of healthy children. The genome was shown to be 1.950,659 bp long and contained 42.03 mol% G + C bases with 1,942 protein-coding and 53 RNA coding genes.

Geologic and Wireline Borehole Summary from the Second ILAW Borehole (299-E24-21) [PDF]

open access: green, 2001
The second borehole for the Immobilized Low-Activity Waste Disposal site Performance Assessment (PA) was drilled in March 2001. Continuous core samples were obtained for characterization activities in support of the PA. The borehole was drilled to a depth of 335 feet below ground surface and completed as a groundwater monitoring well. Only sediments of

Elaboration and Electrochemical Studies of the Coating Behavior of a New Nanofunctional Epoxy Polymer on E24 Steel in 3.5 % NaCl

open access: goldPortugaliae Electrochimica Acta, 2018
The goal of our work is to develop, study, characterize and apply new epoxy macromolecular matrices in the coating process, and to optimize them in the conservation of marine heritage. Epoxy resins are technologically and nano- technologically compatible thermosetting macromolecule matrices, which are easy to use, thanks to their structures and ...

GASOHOL (E24) EFFECTS ON THE FREE PHASE THICKNESS WITHIN MONITORING WELLS COMPARED TO PURE GASOLINE EFFECTS

open access: diamondRevista Águas Subterrâneas, 2006
Free-phase gasoline remedial schemes are based on the gasoline’s thickness layer measured on monitoring wells. The relationship of the thickness within the well and in the aquifer depends on the elevation of the water table.

The physical approach on the surfaces of rotation in E24

open access: green, 2021
In this paper, some physical expressions as the specific energy and the specific angular momentum on these surfaces of rotation are investigated using conditions being geodesic on rotational surfaces with the help of Clairaut's theorem.
