Summary Antifungal proteins (AFPs) derived from filamentous fungi show great potential against economically significant fungi that cause plant diseases and consequently threat food safety and security. This study focuses on the Penicillium expansum PeAfpA and Penicillium digitatum PdAfpB proteins and their activity against several phytopathogens.

The Experience of ECF Bleaching Plant Operation
昨今環境問題への関心が高まっていることや排水関係の規制の強化があり,当社でも数年前に「2004年ECF転換」を目標として掲げ,第一期工事として二酸化塩素発生装置の更新,第二期工事として洗浄工程増強,そして第三期工事としてパルプ漂白設備の更新という3段階に分け設備工事を進めてきた。紀州工場ECF漂白設備は高温二酸化塩素漂白(DUAL―D)を導入し2004年8月に稼働開始した。D*タワーから洗浄機へのパルプの移送としては世界で初めてのグラビティーフィード方式であり設備が簡略化されている。本報ではこれらECF転換の為の新設備導入経緯や新設備稼働によって得られた操業経験について報告する。

Technical Problems and their Measures for ECF Bleaching
三菱製紙八戸工場は,LBKP製造設備のうちの3BKP系列を2000年10月に,2BKP系列を2005年8月にECF化した。初段が二酸化塩素であるECF漂白は,従来の塩素漂白より酸素漂白後の白色度の影響をより顕著に受ける等の挙動の差が明らかになった。又,ECF漂白導入によりAOX,クロロホルム排出量の削減等目的とする環境面の改善は達成されたが,同時に操業面,パルプ品質面で新たな技術的課題が発生した。それらは漂白コストの増加,シュウ酸カルシウムスケールのディフューザースクリーンへの付着,パルプの色戻り等である。これらの課題を根本的に解決するには,これらに深く係わっているヘキセンウロン酸対策を進めていく必要がある。本報は,ECF漂白稼働後の操業を通して明らかになったECF漂白の特徴 ...
