Deubiquitination of Vangl by USP6 and USP32 Regulates Planar Cell Polarity Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Compartment‐specific deubiquitination controls Vangl dosage and planar cell polarity signaling. USP6 and USP32 regulate distinct subcellular pools of Vangl by removing distinct ubiquitin modifications from Vangl proteins. This regulatory mechanism safeguards PCP‐dependent embryonic morphogenesis, while aberrant USP32‐dependent stabilization of VANGL ...

Mutant KRAS‐m6A Epitranscriptome Axis Promotes Colorectal Cancer and is a Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mutant KRAS‐m6A axis promotes colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. Mutant KRAS stabilizes METTL3, leading to increased m6A‐modified BCL9L mRNA and translation of BCL9L protein. BCL9L in turn mediates TGF‐β secretion to induce differentiation of Treg and an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

Multifunctional Nanovaccine‐Radiotherapy Synergy Drives Anti‐Tumor Immunity via Multi‐Cascade Cell Death for Pancreatic Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Machine‐learning‐driven transcriptomic analysis identifies FSTL3 as a key tumor‐microenvironment regulator in desmoplastic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. A cRGD‐modified liposome co‐loading gemcitabine and siFSTL3 serves as an irradiation‐triggered in situ nanovaccine. It synergizes with radiotherapy to induce ferroptosis and immunogenic cell death through

Emergency Presentation of Gastric Ectopic Pancreas [PDF]

open access: yesCureus, 2018
Ectopic pancreas is a rare embryological abnormality apparently not in association with others. Stomach and duodenum are the most common organs involved. Symptoms are nonspecific. Patients may complain of dyspepsia, abdominal pain or intestinal obstruction. Malignant evolution of ectopic pancreatic cells has been reported.

Epigenetic Silencing of CYYR1 Promotes Lung Adenocarcinoma Progression Through TRIM21‐Dependent Regulation of HMMR Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CYYR1 as an epigenetically dysregulated tumor‐suppressive factor that influences oncoprotein stability through TRIM21‐dependent HMMR regulation and reveals a potential therapeutic vulnerability in CYYR1‐deficient LUAD. The graphical illustration was created using FigDraw (www.figdraw.com).

Gastric ectopic pancreas with a pseudocyst

open access: yesRevista Española de Enfermedades Digestivas
Ectopic pancreas (EP) is defined as pancreatic tissue that lacks anatomical or vascular connections to the normal pancreas. EP is generally asymptomatic and is detected incidentally during endoscopy. However, due to pseudocyst formation, inflammation, or malignant transformation, it may cause non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms, such as abdominal ...

CD112 Lactylation Drives Dual Immune Evasion From CD8+ T Cells and NK Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AARS2 functions as an intracellular lactate sensor and lactyltransferase, catalyzing CD112 K412 lactylation to block ubiquitination‐dependent degradation and stabilize CD112. This pathway suppresses CD8+ T‐cell and NK‐cell cytotoxicity, enabling dual immune evasion.

Epithelial SLC25A20 Deficiency Drives Immunosuppressive Neutrophil Remodeling via ARG1 Palmitoylation to Promote Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SLC25A20 deficiency in tumor cells compromises mitochondrial LCFA transport, which suppresses FAO and drives compensatory release of palmitic acid‐enriched lipids into the TME. These tumor‐derived palmitic acids are taken up by TANs, promoting ZDHHC18‐catalyzed ARG1 palmitoylation.
