[Ectopic thoracic pancreas].

open access: yesRevista de gastroenterologia del Peru : organo oficial de la Sociedad de Gastroenterologia del Peru, 2021
We present the case of a 38-year-old man who eighteen years before for having chest pain went diagnosed as hydatid cyst. It was confirmed in multislice spiral tomography (TEM) that it had a heterogeneous mass of liquid content, with partially calcified walls located in the anterior mediastinum.

Lactate‐H3K18la‐RPL11 Axis Drives Gemcitabine Resistance in Pancreatic Cancer by Integrating Protein Synthesis and DNA Damage Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A lactate‐H3K18la epigenetic axis upregulates RPL11 to drive gemcitabine resistance in pancreatic cancer. RPL11 orchestrates chemoresistance through a dual, compartmentalized role: enhancing cytoplasmic protein synthesis via EEF1A1 stabilization and promoting nuclear DNA damage repair by co‐activating PARP14, thus ensuring robust cell survival ...

Loss of Intestinal MSTN Promotes GLP‐1 Secretion Through SGLT1 Palmitoylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intestinal MSTN deficiency enhances glucose‐stimulated GLP‐1 secretion and glucose tolerance in high‐fat diet‐fed mice. Mechanistically, loss of MSTN promotes YY1‐associated ZDHHC20 expression, increasing SGLT1 S‐palmitoylation at Cys301 and its plasma membrane localization in L cells.

[Ectopic pancreas].

open access: yesRevista espanola de enfermedades digestivas, 1997
We describe ten cases of ectopic pancreas operated on in the Hospital General Universitario, Alicante, between 1970 and 1994. Average age of patients was 47.7 (range 3-75); five men and five women. In four cases there was associated digestive tract bleeding, three had chronic gastroduodenal ulcers, two pancreaticobiliary disease, and one suprarenal ...

Long‐Term Expandable Periosteal Organoids Reconstruct a Functional Regenerative Niche That Support Hematopoietic Stem Cell Maintenance and Bone Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A robust periosteal organoid system enables long‐term expansion while preserving native cellular heterogeneity. These organoids recapitulate functional niche environments, support hematopoietic stem cell maintenance, and attenuate aging‐associated decline ex vivo.

The VCPIP1‐UBE3A Deubiquitination‐Ubiquitination Cascade Contributes to Castration‐Resistant Prostate Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
VCIPIP1 emerges as a molecular link between protein stability and prostate cancer progression. By deubiquitinating and stabilizing UBE3A, VCIPIP1 promotes p53 degradation and progression to castration‐resistant prostate cancer. Elevated VCIPIP1 expression is associated with shorter castration‐resistant prostate cancer–free survival, highlighting the ...

CD86‐Positive Mature Tertiary Lymphoid Structures Are Associated With CD8+ T‐Cell Infiltration and Favorable Clinical Outcomes in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
CD86‐positive mature tertiary lymphoid structures were associated with increased intratumoral CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, a higher proportion of Granzyme B‐expressing CD8+ T cells in an exploratory analysis, and favorable clinical outcomes in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
