The classic method to depict graphs is a node-link diagram where vertices (nodes) are associated with each object and edges (links) connect related objects. However, node-link diagrams quickly appear cluttered and unclear, even for moderately sized graphs.

Improved Memetic Algorithm for Multi-depot Multi-objective Capacitated Arc Routing Problem [PDF]
The capacitated arc routing problem (CARP) is a challenging vehicle routing problem with numerous real-world applications. In this paper, an extended version of CARP, the multi-depot multi-objective capacitated arc routing problem (MDMOCARP) is proposed ...

Edge routing with ordered bundles [PDF]
Edge bundling reduces the visual clutter in a drawing of a graph by uniting the edges into bundles. We propose a method of edge bundling drawing each edge of a bundle separately as in metro-maps and call our method ordered bundles. To produce aesthetically looking edge routes it minimizes a cost function on the edges.

Online routing and searching on graphs with blocked edges [PDF]
AbstractWe study routing and searching decisions of a search-and-detection (SDT) team on a road network under online uncertainty setting. Given an undirected edge-weighted bounded graph, a static target is positioned at an unknown vertex among potential target vertices in the graph.

Trust-Aware Routing Mechanism through an Edge Node for IoT-Enabled Sensor Networks
Although IoT technology is advanced, wireless systems are prone to faults and attacks. The replaying information about routing in the case of multi-hop routing has led to the problem of identity deception among nodes.

The forwarding indices of graphs - a survey [PDF]
A routing \(R\) of a connected graph \(G\) of order \(n\) is a collection of \(n(n-1)\) simple paths connecting every ordered pair of vertices of \(G\).

Edge intelligence-assisted routing protocol for Internet of vehicles via reinforcement learning
To achieve a highly reliable and adaptive packet routing protocol in a complex urban Internet of vehicles, an end-edge-cloud edge intelligence architecture was proposed which consisted of an end user layer, an edge collaboration layer, and a cloud ...
