Applying educational models in technological education

Watershed modeling for education
Proceedings of the 1st International Conference and Exhibition on Computing for Geospatial Research & Application, 2010We present two models of water runoff processes designed to teach grade 6--12 students what a watershed is and some aspects of how it behaves. The first model animates the process of watershed delineation, and demonstrates the significance of watershed boundaries by simulating rainfall and runoff interactively.
