Theoretical, numerical, and experimental analysis of effective extraction radius of coalbed methane boreholes by a gas seepage model based on defined criteria [PDF]
AbstractThe effective extraction radius of borehole is the main parameter for determining the design and layout for coalbed methane extraction. This paper is aimed at the problem that the criteria and calculation methods for the effective extraction radius of coal seams are not comprehensive.

Study on effective extraction radius of bedding borehole under the impact of normal fault
The reasonable effective extraction radius of borehole is the key to ensure gas extraction effect. However, the research of effective extraction radius mainly focuses on the measurement method of effective extraction radius of borehole, and there is a lack of research on the effective extraction radius of borehole under special geological conditions of

The Synergistic Effect in Solvent Extraction—The Correlation of the Ionic Radius of Rare Earth Elements with the Stability Constants of Rare Earth Benzoyltrifluoroacetonate Adducts with n-Hexyl Alcohol, TBP and TOPO [PDF]
Abstract The synergistic effects of n-hexyl alcohol, TBP and TOPO on the extraction of rare earth ions with benzoyltrifluoroacetone in benzene have been studied. The stability constants of the adducts were determined by means of the curve-fitting method.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...
