Impact of Severe COVID‐19 on Interstitial Lung Disease in Autoimmune Systemic Diseases

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 9, September 2026.

Nasal Airway Transcriptome Reflects Selected Asthma‐Associated Gene Signatures in the Lower Airways

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 81, Issue 9, Page 3197-3205, September 2026.
Seven genes and two gene modules were consistently associated with asthma in both airway compartments in ARMS and were validated in ATLANTIS. The two modules reflected IL‐13 related inflammation and mast cell activity, respectively. Nasal gene signatures provide a non‐invasive proxy for selected bronchial asthma‐associated gene signatures. Remission in Global Airway Diseases: EUFOREA Consensus Paper

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 81, Issue 9, Page 3146-3156, September 2026.
ABSTRACT The therapeutic goal in chronic airway diseases is shifting from symptom control to disease remission. Once upon a time: the curious case of a backward story of EGPA [PDF]

open access: yesExploration of Asthma & Allergy
A high percentage of patients with severe asthma also suffer from nasal polyposis, with dupilumab, an anti-IL-4R antibody both diseases can be treated due to its role in type 2 (T2) inflammation.
