Dynamic Analysis of Transmission Gears With Combined Tooth Wear and Root Crack Failures
Compound faults present a considerable challenge in fault diagnosis for gear transmission systems, as existing studies predominantly focus on individual failure modes. To address this limitation, the present study proposes a novel dynamic response analysis model that simultaneously considers tooth profile wear and root crack faults.

Ultrasonic Reflection for Measurement of Oil Film Thickness and Contact between Dissimilar Materials [PDF]
The contact between dissimilar materials occurs in many machine elements where one of the contacting parts is manufactured from low modulus materials such as lip seals, o-rings, and metal on polymer prosthetic hip joints.

Effect of Structural Parameters on the Vibration of Slewing Bearing Under External Loading
As the main bearing component of the tunnel boring machine (TBM), the three‐row roller slewing bearing is required to withstand a heavy load and overturning moment in the tunnelling process. Therefore, a dynamic model of a slewing bearing considering the external load and internal structural parameters is established.

Changing the Oral Tribology of Emulsions Through Crystallization of the Dispersed Triglyceride Phase
The solidity of the dispersed phase of suspoemulsions was varied by changing the temperature and using different triglycerides to investigate the oral tribology. If the dispersed phase is solid, this is shown in the Stribeck curve by an increase in friction, whereas with a liquid dispersed phase the friction decreases.

Correlation between Acoustic Emission activity and asperity contact during meshing of spur gears under partial elastohydrodynamic lubrication. [PDF]
This paper presents results of an experimental programme that suggested a correlation between levels of Acoustic Emission (AE) activity and the frictional resistance of contacting asperities of spur gears under partial elastohydrodynamic ...

Research on the sliding friction associated spur-face gear meshing efficiency based on the loaded tooth contact analysis. [PDF]
In order to solve the problem of Meshing Efficiency of spur-face gear sliding friction, a method for calculating the Meshing Efficiency of Spur-Face gear is proposed based on Elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) theory. Through the Tooth Contact Analysis

A temperature rise calculation model of wind turbine gearbox gear considering crack fault and tooth number difference is proposed. The data of high‐speed gear of a wind turbine gearbox in northern China is selected for simulation verification. By comparing with the finite element method, the effectiveness of this method is verified.
