Additive Manufacturing of Patient‐Specific Intracranial Aneurysm Cell Culture Models
Patient‐specific intracranial aneurysm models were fabricated using chocolate moulding, 3D printed water‐soluble cores, and direct resin 3D printing. Moulding PDMS around sacrificial cores made of chocolate or 3D printed water‐soluble resin yielded accurate, expandable, and endothelializable models that outperformed resin‐based approaches.

Study of the asynchronous traction drive's operating modes by computer simulation. Part 2: simulation results and analysis [PDF]
The problem arising at the design of electric locomotives with asynchronous traction drive are considered. The electrical scheme provides the possibility of individual (by axle) control of traction motors.

Mathematical model of traction electric drive for mine electric train [PDF]
In this paper a mathematical description of a traction electric motor for a mine electric locomotive which takes into account skidding effect as a difference between linear speeds of wheel pairs and linear speed of locomotive is proposed. Obtained mathematical description enables to synthesize the PI-control which compensates the skidding effect and ...

The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess
