Projective control of electro-hydraulic servo system
Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001A nonlinear dynamic model for an electro-hydraulic servo system is developed. The model's response is compared with that of an actual valve. A projective control algorithm is used to control the motion of a load. Robustness of the control algorithm is analyzed through simulations.

Electro-hydraulic dipole vibrator
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1993A downhole seismic shear wave source is used to generate seismic shear waves a downhole environment. At least one double headed piston rod with a third piston on the center of the rod slides laterally in the downhole tool. Each end piston head is connected to a rolling diaphragm that is secured at its edges around the periphery of the piston receiving ...

Identification and control of a motorcycle electro-hydraulic clutch
2012 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications, 2012This paper addresses the identification and control of a motorcycle electro-hydraulic clutch, to be employed as main actuator for the design of future automatic gear shift controllers and launch controllers. These applications have very different requirements in terms of tracking performance, and designing an effective controller for both working ...

Electro-Hydraulic Braking System Modelling and Simulation
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2003<div class="htmlview paragraph">The first step toward a braking system ‘by wire’ is Electro-Hydraulic Braking System (EHB). The paper describes a method to evaluate through virtual experimentation the actual improvement in vehicle behaviour, from the point of view of both handling and comfort, including also pedal feeling, due to EHB.

Electro-hydraulic valve control with multiair technology
MTZ worldwide, 2009Over the last decade, the development of new common rail technology for diesel engines marked a breakthrough in the passenger car market. In order to secure the future of petrol engines, Fiat Group decided to follow the same approach. The company is now launching an electro-hydraulic valve control system called „MultiAir“ into series production.

Virtual model of an electro-hydraulic system
2013 International Conference on Process Control (PC), 2013This paper deals with the design of model of electro-hydraulic system with failure simulation feature. The fundamental causes and effects of failures of electro-hydraulic system are summarized. Virtual Simulink model of electro-hydraulic system has been developed and implemented in compliance with performed FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis ...

An electro-hydraulic actuator has an electric motor (25) disposed in a hydraulic fluid reservoir (17) and connected to drive a hydraulic fluid pump (23). The actuator includes an actuator rod (15) which extends or retracts as a piston (20) is hydraulically driven in a cylinder (19). An actuator housing (13) forms the reservoir (17) and the cylinder (19)
