The investigation of electro-thermal sub-strong coupling model of IGBT module
2015 IEEE International Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Electromagnetic Devices (ASEMD), 2015The junction temperature prediction of IGBT module is related to its temperature and current, so it involves coupled electro-thermal calculation. This paper proposes electro-thermal sub-strong coupling model of IGBT modules. Due to the electro-thermal indivisibility of IGBT module, this paper only considers part of coupling terms under the condition of

Parametric Model Order Reduction for Electro-Thermal Coupled Problems with Many Inputs
2017The modified BDSM-ET method is a model order reduction (MOR) technique which was developed to reduce non-parametric electro-thermal (ET) coupled problems with many inputs. The method leads to block-wise sparse reduced-order models (ROMs) which are accurate and computationally cheaper compared to the existing MOR methods.

Parameterization and Validation of a Distributed Coupled Electro-Thermal Model for Prismatic Cells
Volume 2: Dynamic Modeling and Diagnostics in Biomedical Systems; Dynamics and Control of Wind Energy Systems; Vehicle Energy Management Optimization; Energy Storage, Optimization; Transportation and Grid Applications; Estimation and Identification Methods, Tracking, Detection, Alternative Propulsion Systems; Ground and Space Vehicle Dynamics; Intelligent Transportation Systems and Control; Energy Harvesting; Modeling and Control for Thermo-Fluid Applications, IC Engines, Manufacturing, 2014The temperature distribution in a prismatic Li-ion battery cell can be described using a spatially distributed equivalent circuit electrical model coupled to a 3D thermal model. The model represents a middle ground between simple one or two state models (generally used for cylindrical cells) and complex finite element models.
