Study on electromagnetic force distribution and axial uniformity of tube electromagnetic bulging
International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics, 2022In the tube electromagnetic bulging, physical parameters of the driving coil are very important to the results of the electromagnetic forming, the height and outer diameter of the driving coil are the main geometric parameters that affect the distribution of the electromagnetic force and the axial tube uniformity.

Distribution of electromagnetic force in permanent magnets
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1998Two dual formulations are proposed for the calculation of the electromagnetic forces in permanent magnets. The formulations are based on the virtual work principle with the use of nodal elements. Both methods allow the calculation of global force as well as local force densities.

Electromagnetic force acquisition distributed in electric motor to reduce vibration
2015 18th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2015A target of this study is the instantaneous electromagnetic force acquisition in the stator side to reduce the vibration. In this paper, the electromagnetic force is acquired from the displacement measured by the strain gauge. By using the switched reluctance motor which has salient poles, the displacements on both the stator and the rotor are measured.

Effects of off-center of rotor on distributions of electromagnetic force
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2005Some of the motors used for compressors of air-conditioners are cantilevered. The noise of the motor becomes louder when the rotor is off-centered. Therefore, it is important to analyze the motor with an off-centered rotor in order to reduce the noise from such motors, because it is not easy to measure the degree of the off-center in experiments.

The distribution of the electromagnetic force in a welding pool
Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, 1996The dependence of metal resistivity on temperature results in a large variation of resistivity inside the welding pool. This affects the current flow pattern in the plate: current flows predominantly in the direction of arc movement in order to meet cold, well conducting metal.

Analysis of electromagnetic force distribution on end winding for motor reliance
INTERMAG Asia 2005. Digests of the IEEE International Magnetics Conference, 2005., 2005Generally, a high voltage induction motor generates a current with high magnitude and long interval during starting transient operation. This starting current causes end windings to have excessive electromagnetic force on them. This force is the source of vibration and has a negative influence on the insulation stability of end windings. Therefore, end

Force Distributions Produced by an Electromagnetic Mold
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1986The electromagnetic force and consequent fluid flow patterns that can occur in a conventional electromagnetic mold for continuous casting of aluminum are described. The role of system geometry, specifically the placement of the confinement coil and shield, is examined in detail.

Distribution of electromagnetic forces in separately excited dc and ac induction machines
IECON 2016 - 42nd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2016this paper provides an in-depth analysis of distribution of the electromagnetic forces in separately excited dc and ac squirrel cage induction machines. Investigation of local forces acting on the stator and rotor core and windings will shed light on inherent similarities in the mechanism of force generation in two families of electrical machines. This
