ANALIZA ZAKŁÓCEŃ W SIECIACH ELEKTROENERGETYCZNYCH WYWOŁANYCH WYŁADOWANIAMI PIORUNOWYMI
W artykule przedstawiono złożoność problematyki analizy stanów nieustalonych napięć pojawiających się w układzie elektroenergetycznym wskutek bezpośrednich wyładowań piorunowych do elementów konstrukcyjnych linii napowietrznej.

Analysis of Very Fast Transients Using Black Box Macromodels in ATP-EMTP
Modelling for very fast transients (VFTs) requires good knowledge of the behaviour of gas insulated substation (GIS) components when subjected to high frequencies. Modelling usually takes the form of circuit-based insulation coordination type studies, in

Research on the arcing horn with active arc extinguishing function for HVDC grounding electrode line
In this work, an active arc extinguishing method based on variable resistance for arcing horn was proposed. To design the arcing horn within active arc extinguishing function, the grounding electrode line and arcing horn model were established based on a ±800kV UHVDC transmission system. The electrical characteristics of the arcing horn were calculated

Classification of voltage sags causes in industrial power networks using multivariate time‐series
We propose a voltage sag cause classification method based on multivariate time series classification. The proposal offers easy implementation in industrial applications with no previous recorded data. The proposal has the benefit to use reduced size of the reference database, entirely composed of synthetic data.

Reclosing scheme using synchronism checking for utilization of BESS in distribution system
This paper proposes a reclosing scheme using synchronism checking for utilization of battery energy storage system (BESS) in a distribution system. The algorithm disconnects the faulty phase and keeps the power supply from the BESS to the healthy phase ...

Implementation of a non-conventional method to characterize voltage sags and swells
Voltage sags and swells are among the power quality disturbances that represent the biggest economic losses for affected users. It is therefore necessary to undertake a suitable characterization of those events to conduct studies that permit the causes ...
