The magnetic high entropy oxide perovskite Nd(Cr0.2Mn0.2Fe0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)O3 exhibits a substantially large dielectric constant (εr) at room temperature, which shows distinct anionic and cationic contributions in the form of zero and finite bias peaks, respectively, down to its magnetic transition temperature (Tmag).

Effective coupling of rapid freeze-quench to high-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance.
We report an easy, efficient and reproducible way to prepare Rapid-Freeze-Quench samples in sub-millimeter capillaries and load these into the probe head of a 275 GHz Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectrometer.

Visualizing electron pockets in cuprate superconductors
Fingerprint of the electron-pocket in cuprates has been obtained only in numerous magneto-transport measurements, but its absence in spectroscopic observations pose a long-standing mystery. We develop a theoretical tool to provide ways to detect electron-

A synthetic protocol for fabricating high‐entropy rare earth perovskite oxides with abundant lattice distortions and oxygen vacancies has been developed, representing an emerging platform for anchoring RuO2. High entropy strategy significantly modulated the electronic structures and spin states, inducing a shift in the mechanism from the adsorption ...

The nature of CuA in cytochrome c oxidase [PDF]
The isolation and purification of yeast cytochrome c oxidase is described. Characterization of the purified protein indicates that it is spectroscopically identical with cytochrome c oxidase isolated from beef heart.
