Agar Gel Electrophoresis in Neurology.

open access: yesArchives of Neurology, 1965
The title of this book belies its content because a significant portion of it is devoted to paper electrophoresis in neurology. The author correlates the spinal fluid protein patterns obtained with paper electrophoresis in over 500 normal and pathological cases with that obtained with agar gel electrophoresis in more than 800 samples.

Agar Gel Lipoprotein Electrophoresis: A Correlated Study with Ultracentrifugation

open access: yesClinical Chemistry, 1969
Abstract Interest in lipoprotein electrophoresis has been stimulated by a reappraisal of hyperlipoproteinemic syndromes and definition of five basic types according to Fredrickson (Types I, II, III, IV, V). The basic analytic reference for lipoprotein studies remains ultracentrifugal analysis.

Agar Gel Electrophoresis of Antemortem and Postmortem Serum Proteins

open access: yesMedicine, Science and the Law, 1964
The recognition of serum protein alterations in disease has firmly established the value of electrophoresis in laboratory diagnosis during life. The diagnostic role of postmortem serum protein electrophoresis has not become so readily established ...

Electrophoresis of Ribosomes in Agar Gel [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Biochemistry, 1969
Electrophoretic separation in agar gel has been achieved for ribosomes from rat liver and Escherichia coli and their subunits. These particles were characterized by their mobility. RNA was extracted from the agar gel zones containing the two subunits of rat liver.
