Capillary Electrophoresis as a Fundamental Probe of Polymer Dynamics [PDF]
Capillary electrophoresis has long been been recognized as a powerful analytic tool. Here it is demonstrated that the same capillary electrophoretic experiments also reveal dynamic properties of the polymer solutions being used as the support medium.

CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS OF WHEAT GLIADINS [PDF]
Identification of wheat varieties by their gliadin spectrum with acidic polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis has been in use for decades. Since the early 70s electrophoresis has been one of the most frequently used analytical methods for separation and ...

A) SLM generates biomimetic bone scaffolds with consistent porosity but varying TPMS‐Gyroid unit cell designs (TG15, TG20, TG25, TG30). B) By enhancing the expression of ITGB1, TPMS‐Gyroid scaffolds can facilitate osteogenic differentiation in BMSCs and promote M2 polarization in macrophages.

Time‐resolved multiparameter analytics on a cell‐free production platform for acyl‐CoA precursors
Abstract Cell‐free biosynthesis is emerging as a very attractive alternative for the production of market‐relevant molecules. The free combination of enzymes, regardless of where they are isolated from, raises the possibility to build more efficient synthetic routes but at the same time leads to higher complexity regarding the analysis of the different

Theoretical Study of Comb-Polymers Adsorption on Solid Surfaces [PDF]
We propose a theoretical investigation of the physical adsorption of neutral comb-polymers with an adsorbing skeleton and non-adsorbing side-chains on a flat surface. Such polymers are particularly interesting as "dynamic coating" matrices for bio-separations, especially for DNA sequencing, capillary electrophoresis and lab-on-chips.

Current developments in LC-MS for pharmaceutical analysis [PDF]
The current developments in liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and its applications to the analysis of pharmaceuticals are reviewed. Various mass spectrometric techniques, including electrospray and nanospray ionization, atmospheric pressure

Whole‐genomic DNA amplifications from individually isolated sweet sorghum microspores
Abstract Premise Sorghum is a multi‐use crop, the efficient breeding of which requires the development of new genetic tools. One such tool could be the genetic assessment of free microspores, which are released just after the tetrad stage of pollen development.

Electromigration dispersion in a capillary in the presence of electro-osmotic flow [PDF]
The differential migration of ions in an applied electric field is the basis for separation of chemical species by capillary electrophoresis. Axial diffusion of the concentration peak limits the separation efficiency. Electromigration dispersion is observed when the concentration of sample ions is comparable to that of the background ions.
