Cucurbit[7]Uril‐Based Supramolecular Polymers With Dual Photochromism and Fluorescence: From Host‒Guest Design to Smart Applications

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
The supramolecular complexes of cucurbit[7]uril with thiophene‐pyridinium guests formed by different assembly ratios exhibit different photochromic and fluorescence properties, which render them suitable for applications in multi‐level anti‐counterfeiting and advanced information encryption.

Adverse Cardiovascular Risk Profile and Increased Diurnal Salivary Cortisol in Girls With Turner Syndrome: An Exploratory Study

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part C: Seminars in Medical Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Patients with Turner Syndrome (TS) and those exposed to high concentrations of glucocorticoids have a number of characteristics in common, including an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Pediatric TS patients underwent studies of salivary cortisol (SC) and cortisone (SCn), body composition, continuous glucose monitoring, vascular ...

Synthesis and Physical Properties of Salphen‐Conjugated TTF‐Metal Complex [CuII(TTF‐Salphen)]2PF6

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A paramagnetic metal complex, [Cu(TTF‐Salphen)], in which a tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) moiety is conjugated with a Salphen coordination site, was synthesized as a potential candidate for a new π‐d system. Its radical salt, [Cu(TTF‐Salphen)]2PF6, exhibits high electrical conductivity with semiconducting behavior, attributed to its columnar stacking ...

The Synthesis of Nonsymmetric α‐hydroxy‐ethylidenebisphosphonic Derivatives by the Pudovik Reaction, Their Reactions, and Cytotoxic Activity

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Nonsymmetric α‐hydroxy‐ethylidenebisphosphonates (HEBPs) are synthesized by the Pudovik reaction of dialkyl α‐oxo‐ethylphosphonates and P‐reagents (such as dialkyl phosphites, alkyl phenyl‐H‐phosphinates or diarylphosphine oxides). In the presence of 40% diethylamine, the primary adducts rearrange to the corresponding phosphonoyl‐phosphonate and ...
