Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Short-Term Uptake of 15N by a Grass and Soil Micro-Organisms after Long-Term Exposure to Elevated CO2 [PDF]
This study examines the effect of elevated CO2 on short-term partitioning of inorganic N between a grass and soil micro-organisms. 15N-labelled NH4+ was injected in the soil of mesocosms of Holcus lanatus (L.) that had been grown for more than 15months ...

Nutrient relations in calcareous grassland under elevated CO2 [PDF]
Plant nutrient responses to 4 years of CO2 enrichment were investigated in situ in calcareous grassland. Beginning in year 2, plant aboveground C:N ratios were increased by 9% to 22% at elevated CO2 (P > 0.01), depending on year.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

The effects of elevated CO2 (approximate doubling of atmospheric CO2 concentration) on the rate of photosynthesis estimated from continuous monitoring of CO2 exchange in whole plants were investigated in radish cv.

Atmospheric CO2 concentration ([CO2]) has been substantially increasing. Responses of leaf photosynthesis to elevated [CO2] have been intensively investigated because leaf photosynthesis is one of the most important determinants of crop yield.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
