Response of seed yield and its components of red gram (Cajanus cajan L. Millsp.) to elevated CO2
Pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan L. Millsp.) is an important grain legume crop of the semi arid tropics and is a major dietary protein source. The extra short duration cultivar of pigeon pea ICPL 88039 was evaluated at ambient(370 μmol/mol) and twice the ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Mechanism of CO2 adsorption on Mg/DOBDC with elevated CO2 loading
Abstract Understanding the nature of CO2 adsorption in porous materials is important to developing the next generation high performance adsorbents for CO2 capture. The mechanism of CO2 adsorption in a typical metal organic framework (MOF) material, named Mg/DOBDC (DOBDC = 1,4-dioxido-2,5-benzenedicarboxylate), was investigated by experiments and ...

Initial growth responses of blackgram (Vigna mungo L. Hepper) under elevated CO2and moisture stress
An attempt was made to understand the interactive effect of the elevated CO2 and moisture stress on germination and initial growth responses of blackgarm (Vigna mungo L. Hepper). Four open top chambers (OTCs) were used for different conditions: irrigated

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Rhizosphere feedbacks in elevated CO2 [PDF]
Understanding rhizosphere processes in relation to increasing atmospheric CO(2) concentrations is important for predicting the response of forest ecosystems to environmental changes, because rhizosphere processes are intimately linked with nutrient cycling and soil organic matter decomposition, both of which feedback to tree growth and soil carbon ...

Elevated carbon dioxide increases nectar production in Epilobium angustifolium L [PDF]
Effects of elevated CO2 and nutrient availability on nectar production and onset of flowering in five different seed families (genotypes) of Epilobium angustifolium were investigated in a greenhouse experiment. Elevated CO2 significantly increased nectar

Elevated CO2 and O3 Effects on Fine-Root Life Span in Ponderosa Pine [PDF]
Atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) and ozone (O3) concentrations are rising, which may have opposing effects on tree C balance and allocation to fine roots. More information is needed on interactive CO2 and O3 effects on roots, particularly fine-root life

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
