La focalisation des conditionnelles

open access: yesDiscours, 2014
The aim of this article is to identify the different syntactic modes existing in French to focus if-clauses in constructions such as {if-P, Q}, and {Q if-P}.

The anticancer effect of the HDAC inhibitor belinostat is enhanced by inhibitors of Bcl‐xL or Mcl‐1 in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The pan‐HDAC inhibitor belinostat increases the expression of the pro‐apoptotic proteins Bim, Puma, and Noxa and induces apoptosis in ovarian cancer cell lines and patient‐derived tumor organoids when used at high concentrations. Moreover, inhibiting the anti‐apoptotic proteins Bcl‐xL or Mcl‐1 sensitizes these preclinical models to the cytotoxic effect

The Emergence of Embedded Structure: Insights from Kafr Qasem Sign Language

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2014
This paper introduces data from Kafr Qasem Sign Language, an as-yet undescribed sign language, and identifies the earliest indications of embedding in this young language.

Dose‐dependent induction of epithelial‐mesenchymal transition in 3D melanoma models by non‐thermal plasma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Non‐thermal plasma treatment of melanoma cells induced epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in a dose‐dependent fashion. This report highlights the critical need to further investigate potential adverse effects of non‐thermal plasma for cancer therapy and to optimize treatment parameters for clinical translation. Despite the promising results of non‐

The production of relative clauses in Italian-speaking children with DLD

open access: yesIsogloss
Children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) have been shown to struggle with the acquisition of complex structures requiring structural embedding and movement of a sentential element from its original position. This study examines the production

Identification of Coherent Generators by Support Vector Clustering With an Embedding Strategy

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Identification of coherent generators (CGs) is necessary for the area-based monitoring and protection system of a wide area power system. Synchrophasor has enabled smarter monitoring and control measures to be devised; hence, measurement-based ...

Digraph embedding

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2001
AbstractAn upward embedding of a digraph (directed graph) on the plane or a surface is an embedding of its underlying graph so that all directed edges are monotonic and point to a fixed direction. Such embedding in some literatures is called upward drawing without crossing of edges.

Molecular imaging predicts trastuzumab‐deruxtecan (T‐DXd) response in head and neck cancer xenograft models

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Trastuzumab‐deruxtecan, a HER2‐targeting antibody‐drug conjugate, shows promising antitumor activity in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma with low HER2 expression. In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated dose‐dependent cell death and tumor growth reduction in low HER2‐expressing cell lines, which correlated with drug accumulation measured using a

Exploring Character Trigrams for Robust Arabic Text Classification: A Comparative Analysis in the Face of Vocabulary Expansion and Misspelled Words

open access: yesIEEE Access
Tokenization is an important early step in natural language processing (NLP) tasks. The idea is to split the input sentence into smaller units, called tokens, for further processing.

Loss of primary cilia promotes EphA2‐mediated endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in the ovarian tumor microenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of primary cilia in endothelial cells promotes EndMT and vascular abnormalities in the ovarian tumor microenvironment through EphA2 activation. Using human samples, in vitro models, and endothelial‐specific Kif3a‐knockout mice, we show that primary cilia loss drives the acquisition of cancer‐associated fibroblast‐like phenotypes, thereby ...
